27: “Follow Us” by Big Boi

It's in his contract that Big Boi only sits in oversized replicas of Native Americana.Quite frankly, I delight in rap music.  I deplore violence, rarely partake of 40 oz’s (or Cristal), and find the degradation of the fairer sex quite disturbing.  But I do deeply cherish my rap music library.  It is bound in leather and smells faintly of cherry.  Why, it’s as respectable as rich, old, white men themselves!

And so it is I took notice, in this year of our Lord 2010, that one half of the rap super-duo Outkast, none other than Big Boi himself, had busted out with a nasty, profane, and fantastic new album entitled Sir Luscious Leftfoot, Son of Chico Dusty (July 2010).

In case you can’t tell from the album title, there’s a little bit of funkadelic, alien-half-breed psychedelia dripping off this brother’s brain (George Clinton actually sits in on a blunt-focused track called “For Your Sorrows”).

Listen to the song “Follow Us” featuring Vonnegut.  Daddy Fat Sacks doesn’t disappoint.

This track is not safe for Mom (YOUR mom can listen if she wants, but mine shouldn’t).

Enjoy.  Sorry, Mom.
